Grammy Award-winning artist Kendrick Lamar will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 9, 2025, on FOX.
The rap megastar, who has won 17 Grammys will bring hip-hop to the NFL’s championship game, where he performed as a guest artist with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Eminem in 2022.
Super Bowl 59 is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX. The halftime show should start around 8 p.m. ET but is dependent on how long the first half of the game is. Viewers can watch the game and halftime show by using fuboTV (free trial), Sling, DirecTV Stream (free trial) or NFL+.
Lamar will be joined on stage by Grammy winner SZA — his former Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate and who he’s touring with this year for The Grand National Tour. The singer appeared on Lamar’s recent album “GNX” and was featured on a couple of songs including “Gloria” and “Luther,” which also features sampled vocals from Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn.
Lamar and SZA will visit 21 stadiums across North America for their tour, including Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on May 12, 2025. The tour will kick off on April 19 in Minneapolis and will stop at cities including Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Philly, the New York area, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Detroit, Chicago and Toronto. Fans can shop for tickets to the tour using StubHub, VividSeats and SeatGeek.
