BURLINGTON, Vt. — After allegedly setting up several fentanyl purchases to undercover federal agents, a 20-year-old Springfield man is facing drug trafficking charges in federal court.
Hussein Iman is facing charges including conspiracy to distribute and distribution of fentanyl and cocaine following a raid on his Berkshire Avenue home, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Vermont said in a statement Thursday.
Springfield police, who were involved with the investigation, also arrested two other Springfield residents and a Ludlow teenager and seized a large-capacity firearm during the raid, said Ryan Walsh, police spokesman.
