The Patriots made a big step to fortifying their secondary when they agreed to a new four-year deal with Kyle Dugger last weekend.
By retaining Dugger, the Patriots have the leader of their secondary back and solid depth at the safety position. Along with Jabrill Peppers, newcomer Jaylinn Hawkins, Marte Mapu, and Joshuah Bledsoe, the team has solid depth at safety.
