After we released each list, we turned it over to fans, who voted for which player they believe is the best of the best at each position. Here are the winners, including what was written about them late in the season, plus links to the complete lists.
(Note: We contacted MIAA schools across the state and asked them to have their girls soccer coach fill out a survey requesting information about their team. The lists were compiled primarily based on the information provided by the coaches who chose to respond.)
MASSACHUSETTS GIRLS SOCCER ALL-STARS, AS VOTED BY FANS
Hannah Martin, sr., Leicester
The senior captain contributes from her wing position with scoring and distribution, recording four goals and three assists this season. Her well-rounded game extends to offensive and defensive responsibilities. “Excels in team attack and team defending,” Wolverines coach Joe Mercier said. “She is looking to play college soccer.”
Bridget Benoit, fr., Hopkins Academy
The freshman has demonstrated a remarkable scoring touch, particularly on set pieces. With 10 goals to her credit, Benoit has shown a knack for delivering in crucial moments. “Bridget’s strength is shot power and placement,” Golden Hawks coach Vincent Catania said. “She has scored multiple free kicks this year as well as multiple game-winning goals.” Her ability to convert from distance adds another dimension to the Hopkins Academy attack.
Elena Acchione, so., Groton-Dunstable
The sophomore striker has emerged as the Crusaders’ leading goal-scorer with eight tallies this season. Her relentless effort on the left wing creates consistent scoring opportunities. “Gives 110 percent every second on the field,” Groton-Dunstable coach Miles Salyer said. “Young talent with an amazing future.”
Victoria Swift, fr., Leominster
The freshman forward has quickly established herself as a key offensive contributor for the Blue Devils. Her exceptional speed is complemented by an advanced understanding of the game. “Victoria is a standout forward with exceptional pace and a high game IQ,” Leominster coach Jensen Perez said. “Known for playing hard and always looking to score.”

Jordan Giggey, sr., Leicester
Giggey is a senior captain with plans to play soccer in college. She had two goals as of mid-October. “Tenacious work rate,” Wolverines coach Joe Mercier said. “Excels in disrupting attacking team build-up and linking play for her team.”
Ephie Vissas, jr., Hopkins Academy
Golden Hawks coach Vincent Catania describes Vissas as a dynamic all-around player. “She has taken on a leadership role this season by her performance in practice and games,” Catania said. “She has the ability to change games. She has taken on players dozens of times in every game 1-v-1, and even when the players know what to expect, they are unable to get the ball from her. She is powerful with the ball at her feet, and if an open shot is available, it is going to go in. If not, she is going to attempt to beat a player 1-v-1 and then fire off a very powerful shot.” Catania said Vissas will play soccer in college; she is trying to decide which school will be the right fit.
Layni Bailey, sr., Hopkins Academy
Bailey’s strengths? “Leadership and overall technical skill,” Golden Hawks coach Vincent Catania said. “Layni has stepped into the leadership role and has become a selfless player, moving herself to the backline rather than going up to score in every game. She realizes where we need extra help and adjusts her game play as needed.”
Savannah Gauron, sr., Hamilton-Wenham Regional
The senior captain had 13 goals and one assist as of Oct. 12, establishing herself as a dynamic offensive threat for the Generals. “Savannah is our spark plug,” Hamilton-Wenham Regional coach Nancy Waddell said. “She brings tremendous energy to every game. Her speed with the ball allows her to cover an incredible amount of space on the field, evading defenders and beginning our attack.” Gauron’s leadership extends beyond her statistical contributions, as she looks after younger players and connects well with teammates across all age groups, according to Waddell. “Savannah is an amazing captain,” the coach said.

Kirra Trudell, jr., Smith Voc.
Trudell plays alongside sophomore Lillian St. Martin “and does a great job at clearing the ball up the field and reading their players as well,” Vikings coach Alicia Carter said. “Kirra is a strong player who always goes to the ball to win it and finds our team to advance the ball up the field. Kirra also does a great job of covering for Lilly when she has to leave the middle of the field for the play.”
Kallie Tevepaugh, sr., Northbridge
“THE center back!” Rams coach Kristin Strazzulla said. “We call our home field ‘Tev’s House’ because this girl wins everything in the air.” Tevepaugh was a second-team SWCL all-star last year and this season had three goals off corner kicks through mid-October. “She has a great personality, keeps things light in the locker room, but when it’s time to get serious, she will put her body on the line to protect our goalkeeper and defend our net,” Strazzulla said.
Kennedy Bates, so., Leicester
Bates is a sophomore star at center back. “High soccer IQ,” Wolverines coach Joe Mercier said. “Decisive and confident in her role in our back four.”
Isabella Vozzella, jr., Belchertown
“Isabella has been a great outside back, taking on many teams’ top wingers,” Orioles coach Kyle Thibeault said. “She is one of the strongest players on the field.”

Elle Robinson, sr., Norwell
As of mid-October, Robinson had played every minute of every game this season and had posted six shutouts. “She is very commanding and owns her area,” Clippers coach Robert Williams said. “She is fearless.”
Jill Rodrique, jr., Leicester
Rodrique is a standout goalkeeper and a team captain as a junior. “Tremendous athlete, vocal and fearless,” Wolverines coach Joe Mercier said.
