A Massachusetts State Lottery player claimed the $500,000 top prize in the lottery’s “Big Blue Bonus Cashword” game on Tuesday, converting 1 in 3.78 million odds in the process.
The winning ticket was sold at AAA Grocery in Dorchester. Two $500,000 prizes remain in the $5 game, of a total of four.
Additionally, four $100,000 prizes were won or claimed on Tuesday, including three top prize winners in “Mass Cash.” The $100,000 prize claimed Tuesday was in the lottery’s “$100,000 Max Winnings” game.
The winning “Mass Cash” tickets were sold at a Cumberland Farms in Norton, 76 Food Mart in Leominster and La Peraviana Market in Roxbury. “Mass Cash” costs just $1 to play, and drawings are held twice a day.
“$100,000 Max Winnings” costs $10 to play. The winning ticket in that game was sold at a Big Y in Wilbraham. There are 69 $100,000 remaining prizes in the game.
Overall, at least 589 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday, including 13 in Springfield, 24 in Worcester and 55 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The two largest lottery prizes won so far in 2025 were each worth $15 million. One of the prizes was from a winning “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke, and the other was from a “300X” scratch ticket sold on Cape Cod.
