From the Berkshires and Boston to Cape Cod and the Islands, there are plenty of romantic restaurants to celebrate love this Valentine’s Day.
But the real question is what places are the most romantic in Massachusetts?
In honor of Valentine’s Day, we asked MassLive readers on Facebook and Instagram what they thought were the most romantic restaurants across the state. Below are some of their answers:
- Alinas Restaurant in Hadley
- Atria Restaurant and Brick Cellar Bar in Edgartown in Martha’s Vineyard
- Calico Restaurant in Easthampton
- Chesca’s Restaurant in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard
- Contessa Ristorante in Boston was called “a beautiful romantic restaurant,” by one reviewer on Tripadvisor, who said, “The service was welcoming and excellent throughout. The food was delicious.”
- East Bay Grille in Plymouth
- The Federal Restaurant and Bar in Agawam has a dining area that “is well-decorated and very romantic,” according to one reviewer on Tripadvisor.
- Grill 23 and Bar in Boston
- Lattitude Restaurant in West Springfield is “perfect if you want to have a family dinner or a romantic evening with your love,” one Yelp reviewer said.
- Leones Restaurant in Springfield
- Peppercorn’s Grille and Tavern in Worcester
- Rossetti Restaurant in Beverly
- Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield has a main dining room that creates “a very romantic setting,” according to one Yelp reviewer, complete with a fireplace.
- Salt Raw Bar in Plymouth
- The Sweetheart Restaurant in Shelburne Falls
- The Thirsty Dog in Longmeadow was applauded for its romantic atmosphere and chic décor by one Facebook reviewer who said the restaurant was a “great place to have some drinks.”
- Tucker’s Restaurant in Southwick
- Westwood Restaurant and Pub in Westfield
- The Whately Inn in Whately “has done drastic improvements over the years but has always kept the ambiance of a romantic restaurant with great food,” one reviewer on Tripadvisor said.
- Willy’s Steakhouse Grill and Bar in Shrewsbury creates “a nice little romantic atmosphere” with tables dressed with white linen and a small candle, according to one Yelp reviewer.
