HAMPDEN – It is men who mostly buy flowers for their sweethearts on Valentine’s Day and dudes simply do not plan ahead.
On the day before the holiday, staff at Kinderhook Flowers & Gift had about 35 orders and a couple of those were for funerals or anniversaries. But that was the same last year and they sold more than 200 flower arrangements on Feb. 14.
