
A sanitation worker was hit by a car while on the job in Eastern Massachusetts on Monday afternoon and police are looking for the driver.
The incident happened in Southborough on Pine Hill Road at around 1:15 p.m. on Monday, according to the Southborough Police Department.
A person in a gray Nissan Murano SUV was driving by a waste removal truck stopped at 92 Pine Hill Rd. when they hit a sanitation worker outside the truck, police said.
The driver did not stop after hitting the worker and fled the scene, police said.
The worker who was struck was brought to the hospital for their injuries, police said.
