A 2-year-old dog named Blizzard loves to serenade people, according to the Dakin Humane Society — but former neighbors complained of his voice.
Now, the malamute “with a heart as big as his voice” is looking for a new home.
“Like most malamutes, Blizzard loves to sing,” the humane society wrote. “His soulful howls are part of his charm, but they did lead to his previous owner surrendering him after neighbors complained.”
The 80 pound dog is sweet, playful and loyal, the humane society said. He is friendly to everyone he meets and knows “sit” and “paw.” He also appears house trained.
“Blizzard is a quick learner, a good listener, and always ready for some fun,” the human society wrote. “He’s a bit shy when meeting new dogs but warms up fast and is eager to play.”

Blizzard has spent a lot of time outdoors and enjoys it. The humane society thinks he would thrive in a home with access to a yard or outdoor space “where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the fresh air.”
“Daily exercise and mental stimulation will help keep him happy and content,” Dakin wrote.
