Woman flown to Boston hospital after slamming into parked car on electric bike

A 25-year-old woman was flown to a Boston hospital with serious injuries after the electric bike she was riding slammed into a parked car in Groveland Sunday evening, officials said.

Passersby found the woman on Main Street shortly after the crash and called 911 around 8 p.m. Sunday, Groveland Fire Chief Robert Valentine and Police Chief Jeffrey T. Gillen said in a joint statement. Police and firefighters found the woman with serious traumatic injuries.

The woman was then flown to Boston Medical Center, according to the statement.
