Week 4 recap: How did some former Patriots players perform?

Week 4 of the NFL season is in the books so it’s time to take a look at how former Patriots players did across the league.

Several ex-New England players took the field for their respective teams in still in search of their first win of the year or in search to remain undefeated. And there were some players who used to don the Patriots jersey that helped make an impact in the games.

Nick Folk continued to be (literally) perfect for the Tennessee Titans, while Jonnu Smith racked up 95 receiving yards for the Atlanta Falcons.

Let’s take a look at how old friends fared.

Falcons WR Jonnu Smith: 6 receptions, 95 yards

Smith didn’t score a touchdown in the Falcons’ loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but his 95 yards on the day put him at 179 for the season — more than Patriots’ Hunter Henry (176) and Kendrick Bourne (175).

Bills WR Damien Harris: 6 carries, 29 yards

Harris might not be racking you up points in Fantasy Football, but he’s still a dangerous weapon for the Bills. Buffalo handed the Miami Dolphins their first loss of the season on Sunday as the AFC East continues to be an open division.

Titans K Nick Folk: Completed 100% on field goals attempts (2-for-2, long of 53), 9 points

Folk’s accuracy certainly hasn’t gone anywhere this year as he made two field goals and three PATs in the Titans’ 27-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He’s now 10-for-10 on field goals and 6-for-6 on PATs this season.

Cowboys CB Stephon Gilmore: 2 tackles

The Cowboys defense was all over the Patriots in Dallas’ Week 4 win. Gilmore played 100% of the defensive snaps and didn’t allow a reception on three targets against his former New England team.

Ravens WR Nelson Agholor: 1 reception, 4 yards

Agholor had a great catch in the end zone but he wasn’t able to get both feet down and secure the touchdown. The Ravens were still able to make easy work of the Browns, 28-3.

Broncos WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey: 1 reception, 11 yards

Russell Wilson connected with Humphrey on a 3rd-and-10 that helped the Broncos earn the win over the Chicago Bears.

Dolphins WR Braxton Berrios: 4 returns, 91 yards | 6 receptions, 43 yards 1, touchdown | 1 carry, 11 yards

Berrios continues to be utilized in different roles for Miami and he’s making the most of it and has looked impressive all season.
