BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A rollover crash led to dozens of piglets being released onto an Ohio highway, WHIO reported. Body camera video shows state troopers and other first responders corralling them, protecting them from traffic until their new ride arrives.

A tractor-trailer operated by Joshua Henderson, 30, was driving on an interstate ramp when the trailer, which was carrying hundreds of piglets, rolled onto its side. Dozens of pigs ran out onto the roadway, according to the report.

Body camera footage from the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows troopers, firefighters and bystanders corralling the pigs into a corner.

“Get back there, little buddy,” one trooper can be heard saying as he chases after a straggler.

Henderson, who was not injured, was cited for failure to control his vehicle, an Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesperson said. The piglets were ultimately transferred to another tractor-trailer.
