CHICAGO — A woman has been charged with attempted murder after shooting at police officers last month, CBS News Chicago reported.

Body camera footage from the incident, which occurred Sept. 2, shows officers telling the woman to come closer and show her hands before she turned and pointed a gun at them.

The officers take cover behind cruisers as the woman begins to fire at them before quickly returning fire. No one was hit or injured in the shooting, according to the report.

The woman, now identified as Lynn Resendez, 41, ran away from the scene but was later arrested. She is now charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault of a police officer and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Police said Resendez admitted to firing at the officers, according to the report. She was denied pretrial release by a judge and will appear in court again Nov. 14.
