After two lightning delays and a tied game going into the bottom of the sixth, the Longmeadow Lancers looked to try and score for the first time since the bottom of the third.
Longmeadow put up three runs in the bottom of the sixth, and secured the win over Minnechuag on senior night after Delaney Schrager caught the final out in foul territory.
Longmeadow led for most of the game, but lost the lead after a two-run top of the fifth and one-run top of the sixth for Minnechaug. On the day, Gabby Palma led the team with four RBIs, as Schrager also chipped in with two of her own. Livia Kelly provided the other RBI for the Lancers.
Longmeadow will play the last game of their regular season on Saturday against 4:00 at West Springfield, while Minnechaug hosts South Hadley tomorrow at 5:30.
