Franklin County beats Pathfinder after three-run first

Sitting at .500, Franklin County Tech looked to collect a big win over Pathfinder Tech, who came into the contest at 9-4. Franklin jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after the first inning, and scored another two in the second to propel them to a 10-2 victory.

A majority of the players on Franklin recorded a hit, as George Gutierrez and Zaydrien Alameda both recorded three hits.

Alameda also led the team in RBI’s with three, as Gutierrez and Hunter Donahue both recorded two each. Only two extra base hits were recorded from Franklin, but the seven total walks also helped them get runners on base in the victory.

Franklin is set to host Lee in their final home game of the regular season tomorrow at 4:00, while this marks the end of the regular season for Pathfinder.
