State attorney general implements plan to reduce race-based bullying in the Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District

SOUTHWICK — The state Attorney General’s Office is aiming to stamp out racism and bullying in the Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional Schools, recently issuing a 12-step plan to help guide the district to action.

The AG’s action plan come after a group of district eighth graders engaged in a mock slave auction on Snapchat after school hours in February, on top of incidents of bullying and use of racial slurs in the schools.
