SPRINGFIELD — Looking at the playground equipment, basketball court and picnic tables, Thomas Ashe declared there was something missing from Johnny Appleseed Park.
“You don’t see any children,” Ashe, city director of parks, buildings and recreation management, said on Tuesday.
