Two competitors in the Northampton city council race walked hand in hand into Northampton City Hall last week on Tuesday, jointly deciding one of them would be withdrawing from the race that day.
Quaverly Rothenberg and Jo Ella “Jada” Tarbutton-Springfield have been friends and practically family to each other for years, and decided that they did not want to run against each other for the Ward 3 Northampton City Council position.
