Some Rocky’s Ace Hardware stores in western Massachusetts are giving away free Christmas trees as a way to give back to the local communities.
Dwayne Barker, a manager at the store’s Springfield location, said he knows this time of the year is very stressful for people and families.
The store was already going to donate Christmas trees for families in need, but this way is faster, he said.
