SOUTHWICK — While the Planning Board approved revoking the security requirements the town imposed in 2021 on Sunnyside Ranch Estates LLC Tuesday, representatives of the Sunnyside Ranch Estates Property Owners Association — not related — asked the board to delay the decision alleging the town failed to adequately oversee the subdivision’s construction and the possibility it could influence an appeal the POA has filed against the last developer involved in the project.
This was the latest action in a lawsuit the town filed against the developers of the gated subdivision in October 2021 to force one, or all, of the parties to complete two roads to town specifications after it learned the roads were crumbling to pieces.
