Person flown to Boston hospital after ‘water incident’ at Walden Pond

A person was flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital following a “water incident” at Walden Pond in Concord Sunday afternoon, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Troopers responded to the incident and facilitated transport for the 33-year-old victim, a State Police spokesperson said in an email. The victim was unconscious but breathing while being transported to the hospital.

State Police and the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident. No further information has been released.
