The Patriots made a pair of practice squad elevations ahead of Sunday’s game against the Browns.

Running back Terrell Jennings and safety Richie Grant have been added to the active roster. This is the third and final elevation available for Jennings, who has been playing more following a season-ending injury to Antonio Gibson.

“I think (Jennings) is a great teammate,” Mike Vrabel said. “I think he cares about the team. He’s able to play on special teams. He’s able to play on a fourth down. He’s got a toughness to him. I think he’s improved.”

For Grant, this is the first elevation of the season and could be necessary because of an injury to Kyle Dugger. The backup safety is the only player the Patriots have listed on the injury report this week, as he’s questionable with a knee ailment.

A full-time starter for Atlanta during 2022 and 2023, Grant also appeared in all 17 games for the Falcons last season. He is relatively new to New England, as he signed on October 15.
