Over 130,000 homes and businesses in Massachusetts are still without power Tuesday morning as a result of Monday’s storm, which brought high winds and heavy rain to the state.

By 7:15 a.m., nearly 134,000 Massachusetts homes and businesses were still dark, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). The continued outages are concentrated around the South Shore, with Plymouth, Norfolk and Bristol Counties being the worst affected, but there were also major continued outages in Middlesex, Essex, Suffolk and southern Worcester County.
