WESTFIELD — The School Committee met on the eve of Election Day Nov. 3 to take care of routine financial transfers and other business updates. Mayor Michael McCabe, who chairs the committee, wished good luck to everyone running in the election.
There were three School Committee seats on the ballot in Tuesday’s election with three candidates running, including incumbent Kathleen Hillman, former School Committee member Jeffrey Gosselin and newcomer Kick Sullivan. All three were expected to be elected. Current members Timothy O’Connor and Heather Sullivan did not seek reelection, and will be wrapping up their four-year terms at the end of the year.
