10-22-25 PVIAC Class B Field Hockey Semifinals – No. 4 Southwick at No. 1 Belchertown
BELCHERTOWN – It wasn’t easy, but the defending Western Massachusetts champion Southwick Regional field hockey team will get a chance to two-peat.
Despite losing to Belchertown in their previous two meetings, No. 4 Southwick survived 60 minutes of regulation time and nearly two full overtime periods to come away with a grueling 1-0 victory on the road against the top-seeded Belchertown Orioles in a Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference Class B field hockey semifinal late Wednesday afternoon.
