NORTHBOROUGH – Newton North’s Molly Haughton took the floor after the rest of the events finished at the South Sectionals at Algonquin Regional High on Saturday.
Her teammates and coaches – alongside other gymnasts and all the spectators lining the bleachers – watched as Haughton completed her floor routine with high energy and received loud cheers. Haughton scored a 9.55 – the Tigers highest score on the floor so far – before her teammate Lucia Grapski rounded out the meet with her floor routine and scored a 9.6.
