WESTFIELD – Some of the newly acquired collection of Westfield whips from Collinsville, illinois will be on display in the Lang Auditorium of the Westfield Athenaeum, 6 Elm Street, on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 2-4 p.m.
In the announcement, the Westfield Athenaeum said it acquired the early 20th century salesman case of Searle Whip Company whips, thanks to a generous donation by local historian Bruce Cortis. The whips will be available for viewing during this exhibition event, where Cortis and historian Dr. Robert Brown will be attending to answer your questions.
