A motorcyclist died days after he crashed in Springfield Friday evening on the same street where a Springfield woman was killed in a crash earlier that day, according to the Springfield Police Department.
The motorcyclist, who has not yet been publicly identified, was riding near the 500 block of Parker Street in the area around Planet Fitness and the intersection with Boston Road in Springfield on Friday, Oct. 6, at about 6 p.m. when he collided with a car, the department said.
The motorcyclist was brought to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries, the department said, and he died at the hospital on Monday, the department announced Oct. 10.
