MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers are expanding their popular trading card print program in partnership with local law enforcement, aiming to foster positive connections between officers and youth across Wisconsin, WKOW reported.
The initiative will distribute 1,000 packs of Brewers-themed trading cards to 30 law enforcement departments statewide. The comic book-style cards feature players including Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio, Sal Frelick, William Contreras, Brice Turang and Joey Ortiz.
“We have received such great feedback from law enforcement and fans alike, appreciating the impact the Brewers trading card print program has in the community,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers president of business operations.
Agencies in cities such as Milwaukee, Janesville, Sun Prairie and Platteville will begin distributing the cards to local youth in June. The Brewers plan to expand the program further in future seasons.
