Mass. woman wins $25K a year for life prize after dreaming she’d win the lottery

A woman who won $25,000 a year for life had a dream that she’d win the lottery about six months before winning her “Lucky for Life” prize.

Patricia Harris, of Holliston, won $25,000 a year for life in the multi-state “Lucky for Life” lottery drawing game on Sept. 24, 2023. The first five numbers in the drawing matched the numbers on her Quic Pic ticket.

Harris came forward on March 14 to claim her prize at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester, and chose the cash option to receive a one-time payment of $390,000 before taxes.

The Holliston woman told lottery officials she’d had a dream she was going to win the lottery about six months prior to her win. She said she was going to use her winnings to invest and “do some nice things” for her family.

Harris bought her winning ticket at Country Farm, located at 429 Washington St. in Holliston. The shop will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
