A 48-year-old Dorchester man was arrested in Framingham Wednesday and now faces several criminal charges in connection with a shooting in Dorchester earlier that day.
Carlos Encarnacion is charged with armed assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition, Boston Police said in a statement. Encarnacion is expected to be arraigned in the Dorchester Division of Boston Municipal Court on Thursday morning.
