
A 45-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested in Mattapan on Wednesday morning and now face charges in connection with a double shooting in Boston’s Downtown Crossing neighborhood last week, police said.
Robert Mallard, of Dorchester, was wanted on a warrant charging him with two counts of assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of carrying a loaded firearm and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building. He was arrested near 1000 Harvard St, Boston Police said in a statement.
A second suspect, Emily Mackey, also a resident of Dorchester, was found inside an apartment at 1000 Harvard St. and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, police said.
