WESTFIELD – There were so many runs scored in a Little League Softball district tournament opener that even the lights grew tired.
Play was suspended at Sadie Knox Field due to a power outage Monday evening with Westfield trailing East Longmeadow 20-15 in the top of the fifth inning of a 14U All-Stars district tournament game.
