Kendrick Lamar, SZA perform hits at Super Bowl LIX halftime show

Kendrick Lamar performed the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 9, 2025.

This was Lamar’s first time headlining the NFL’s championship game after he performed as a guest artist with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Eminem in 2022.

Samuel L. Jackson, dressed as Uncle Sam, introduced the rap megastar as Lamar emerged from Buick Grand National.

The rapper then performed a plethora of his hits including “Humble,” “DNA” and the chart-topping “Not Like Us,” which recently won Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Lamar was later joined by R&B sensation SZA, with whom he performed the duo’s songs “Luther” and “All the Stars.” The duo are touring with this year for The Grand National Tour.

Serena Williams also made a surprise cameo during the show, according to an X post from Pop Crave.
