For the first time in an awfully long time the Bruins and Panthers have played the same numbers of games. And thanks to Florida’s loss to Toronto on Monday, Boston has a two-point lead with seven games to go.
The Maple Leafs moved within two points of clinching a playoff spot as well. Washington, Philadelphia and Detroit remain close as the three teams compete for two spots.
