Tyler Bertuzzi, Toronto Maple Leafs — It took him a while to get going, but Bertuzzi had a strong February and March and has 19 goals and 20 assists and will get a chance to be Playoff Bert again later this month. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of contract he gets when he’s a free agent again in the offseason.
Nick Foligno, Chicago Blackhawks — Foligno was acquired for his leadership on a young team, but his 17 goals are his most since 2018-19 and his 37 points are the most since 2016-17.
Tomas Nosek, New Jersey Devils — With just two goals and four assists in an injury-shortened season, it’s been a rough year for Nosek. But he had no points until March 14, so comparatively he’s having a strong finish.
Connor Clifton, Buffalo Sabres — It’s been a disappointing year for the Sabres, who’d hoped for a breakthrough, but Clifton had four goals and 13 assists and was plus-11 in his first season in Western New York.
Garnet Hathaway, Philadelphia Flyers — Hathaway has seven goals and nine assists as he and the Flyers are trying to get into the playoffs.
A.J. Greer, Calgary Flames — After missing half of March and all of February with injury, Greer has returned. In a true sliding doors scenario, if the Flames hadn’t claimed him, Justin Brazeau might never have gotten a chance. He’s matched career highs in goals (six) and points (12) in 57 games.
Craig Smith, Dallas Stars — He’s not the sniper he was during his peak in Nashville, but Smith had a career resurgence had 10 goals and nine assists playing a regular bottom-six for one of the best teams in the NHL.
Mike Reilly, New York Islanders — After getting cut loose by Florida, Reilly had a career-high in goals (five) and points (20) in 54 games for the Islanders, who are still clinging to hope for a playoff spot.
Taylor Hall, Chicago Blackhawks — Hall missed most of the season with an injury that required surgery.
