Heat advisory affecting 3 Massachusetts counties from Sunday to Tuesday

On Saturday at 2:04 a.m. the National Weather Service released a heat advisory valid from Sunday 11 a.m. until Tuesday 8 p.m. for Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties.

The weather service comments, “Heat index values up to 100 degrees expected.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” explains the weather service.
