West Springfield fell to Reading, 18-4, in the Division II state tournament Round of 16 on Wednesday.
Audrey Canata netted two goals and one assist to lead the Terriers in the loss. Darby Poe and Emma Chapman each scored one goal as well in the contest. Olivia Davis was in net for West Springfield and tallied 15 saves.
The Terriers’ 2025 season comes to a close with a final 15-6 record. Reading will play No. 5 Hingham in the quarterfinal round.
No. 5 Hingham (19), No. 21 Northampton (3)
Northampton fell to Hingham, 19-3, in the Division II state tournament quarterfinal round on Wednesday.
Hingham will now play No. 4 Reading in the quarterfinal round.
