Gardener’s Supply Co. bankruptcy is set to hit WMass farms hard

Bare Roots Farm
Chris Reid, co-owner of Bare Roots Farm in West Chesterfield, stands in one of the two greenhouses that can hold roughly 2,800 plants combined. He and his partner, Anna Maunz, are facing a $27,000 loss due to Gardener’s Supply Co.’s filing for bankruptcy. (Douglas Hook / The Republican)Douglas Hook

The west-facing slopes of Bare Roots Farm in West Chesterfield are a long way from U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.
