From Harwich Port to Chatham: J. Bar expands its healthy footprint

J. Bar, the popular plant-based smoothie and juice bar located in Harwich Port, has officially expanded with a second location in Chatham.

Nestled in the Shops at 400 Main, the new space brings J. Bar’s offerings, like smoothies, cold-pressed juices and nourishing bowls, to more people on Cape Cod.

The Chatham location, which soft-opened last fall and celebrated its grand opening in May, features a refreshed aesthetic and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. In addition to J. Bar’s staples, the new outpost includes seasonal soups, creating an inviting space for customers year-round.

Owner Erin Tucker launched J. Bar with a focus on raw, organic, unprocessed ingredients, originally offering only juices and smoothies before evolving into a full-service healthy café.

The success of the Harwich Port location and growing community demand inspired the leap into Chatham.

Unlike the Harwich Port shop, which operates seasonally, the Chatham location is expected to remain open through spring, summer and fall, with the potential to expand even further into the offseason. Early feedback from customers suggests the new space is already a hit with locals and visitors alike.

With this expansion, J. Bar continues its mission of making clean, plant-based eating accessible across the Cape, now with double the locations.
