
PALMER ― The daredevil motorcycle rider known as Doug Danger is coming back to his hometown Saturday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a feat that drew national notice.
On Memorial Day weekend in 1984, Danger (his real name is Doug Senecal) raced a motorcycle up a ramp alongside a 65-foot-tall building at Forest Lake in Palmer. He hurtled 85 feet up into the air and then soared 145 feet out over the water — where he jumped off the motorcycle and into the lake
