A man was killed in a crash in East Bridgewater on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at around 6:53 a.m. on Dec. 16, at the intersection of Plymouth and Bridge Streets, according to the East Bridgewater Police Department.
Two cars collided at the intersection, prompting multiple people to call 911. Each vehicle had only the driver.
One of the drivers, an 86-year-old East Bridgewater man, was brought to a local hospital and was pronounced dead. The driver of the other car refused medical treatment.
The intersection was closed to traffic on Tuesday morning while the scene was under investigation. The incident remains under investigation by the East Bridgewater Police Department, with assistance from state police and its detectives with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
