NEW YORK — Two NYPD officers were captured on body camera video rescuing a man who had fallen onto a subway track moments before a train came into the station, WABC reported.

Officers Jonathan Valle and David Carnarte were assigned to the station Nov. 4 when they saw the man fall.

The camera footage shows the man on his hands and knees on the tracks, moaning in pain as the officers approach and form a plan.

Valle jumped down onto the tracks and was able to lift the man up to Carnarte with the help of a good Samaritan, according to the report.

Valle and the good Samaritan climbed off of the tracks to safety.

The video then shows officers speaking to the man, who was now lying on the platform, as the train passes through the station.

The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
