Through the first month of the season, Milton girls hockey has been one of the best teams in the state. In conference play, the Wildcats have allowed just two goals while scoring 19 and they remain No. 1 in these Bay State Conference power rankings.
Coming in right behind them are the Warriors, winners of four straight after beginning the year 0-2. Natick, who beat Brookline in the season opener, slips to No. 3 after going 2-2 in its last four contests.
Also moving down slightly are the Wamps who fell 7-2 to the Wildcats on Saturday.
On Wednesday, Braintree will face off with the No. 5 team in this week’s rankings, Framingham. The Flyers have won back-to-back contests, already eclipsing their win total from last season.
Walpole is the biggest riser on the list, grabbing one win and one draw in its last four games after beginning the year 0-2.
