  2. Needham (8-7, No. 2)
  3. Newton North (7-5, No. 3)
  4. Wellesley (5-7, No. 4)
  5. Natick (8-4, No. 5)

  8. Brookline (2-9, No. 10)
  9. Braintree (2-8, No. 8)
  10. Weymouth (1-11, No. 9)

Walpole has continued to bounce back following its back to back losses to Duxbury and Acton-Boxborough over the April break, stringing together four-straight wins to retain its spot at the top of our rankings.

The Timberwolves’ recent wins came against Wellesley, Brookline, Grafton and Newton North.

The program will take on conference opponents Braintree, Milton and Natick in the coming weeks before closing out its regular season against state powerhouse Franklin in a non-conference matchup.

Despite dropping its last six games, Wellesley stayed at the No. 3 spot.

The Raiders have played competitive games with some of the state’s best during the last few weeks, including matchups with Hingham, Walpole, Needham, Winchester and more.

Heading into the last few weeks of the regular season, the Raiders will aim to build momentum playing the rest of its conference schedule before the start of the postseason. The program was ranked No. 19 in Division I in the latest MIAA state divisional power rankings.

Brookline was the only climber in this week’s rankings, moving to No. 8. The Warriors won their first game of the season on May 3 against Cambridge Rindge & Latin and followed the game up with another win, a blowout against Braintree on Tuesday.

The program will try for its third win in a row on Thursday when it plays Natick.
