A month and a half into the season, Bay State Conference boys hockey is still trying to sort itself out.

Five teams sit at .500 or better and all have at least two wins on the season.

Aside from just the standings, where the teams have really begun to differentiate themselves is in goal differential. Some are hanging around due to stellar defenses while others are overpowering teams on offense.
