Game of the week: Wellesley at Brookline, Wednesday, May 14 at 4 p.m.
With four wins in a row, Weymouth is the first team to a dozen wins in the conference and jump into the No. 1 spot in this week’s Bay State Conference baseball power rankings.
Right on their heels though are the red-hot Brookline Warriors who have put together three wins in a row against Natick, Braintree, and Milton.
The Raiders too have picked things up as of late, moving to No. 3, and face a major test when they travel to Brookline on Wednesday.
At No. 4 is Natick who is also playing great baseball, winning five of their last six games.
The biggest faller in the top five is Braintree who slips to fifth after going 1-2 last week.
The Timberwolves also moved back this week, dropping to sixth after also going 1-2 in their last three games.
The last four teams stay the same each week. Milton and Newton North each lost their last time out and the Rockets and Flyers continue to struggle on the year.
