STONE COUNTY, Ark. — A deputy has been shot and killed in the line of duty, THV 11 reported.
The Stone County Sheriff’s Office has not released details of the shooting or the name of the deputy, but has announced that a suspect is in custody, according to the report.
Sheriff Brandon Long has stated that more information will be released as it becomes available, and asked that “prayers be lifted for family, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officer.”
