
Attorney General Andrea Campbell made it clear earlier this week that she doesn’t agree with the Legislature and Gov. Maura Healey that a Boston nonprofit that has been accused of predatory lending should be shielded from the state’s consumer protection laws.
The state’s top law enforcement official told GBH Radio on Tuesday that she and her office had told the Democratic governor that it opposed the language included in the $4 billion economic development bill that lawmakers passed, and Healey signed, earlier this month.
