The Pittsburgh Steelers have to wait and see how serious Aaron Rodgers’ wrist injury is.
The quarterback suffered the injury in the first half of the Steelers’ win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
Coach Mike Tomlin told reporters after the game that Rodgers will have his wrist evaluated on Monday. WPXI’s Shelby Cassesse noted she saw Rodgers leaving the stadium with his hand tucked into his hoodie pocket.
It’s unclear when exactly Rodgers was injured.
Mason Rudolph came in for his injured teammate and went 12-of-16 for 127 yards with one touchdown.
“Mason’s proven in the past what he showed today,” Tomlin said. “That’s why we value him.”
The Steelers moved to 6-4 with the win, which was highlighted by two touchdowns from the defense, including a pick-6 from Kyle Dugger.
Rodgers in his first season with Pittsburgh. The team began 2025 with a 4-1 record, but Rodgers and the rest of the offense has struggled of late.
Should Rodgers miss any time, Rudolph figures to fill in in the meantime.
